Sitter basics

What happens on their end

What will the sitter see on their screen?+

The sender name you picked from the list, from a number we manage. Your own number doesn’t appear.

Is it free, and how fast?+

Free sends wait in a queue of about 10 minutes and count toward a daily limit. Pay $2 and the text goes instantly.

What if the sitter has questions about the rabbit?+

Replies aren’t forwarded, so answer likely questions up front: amounts, times, where the hay lives.

The setup

A note, not a conversation

When you send an anonymous text for pet care, think of a sticky note on the fridge: complete, calm, and short enough to read at the door.

Rabbits are particular. Mention the pellet scoop at breakfast, fresh greens in the evening and hay topped up all day. Sample line: “Pellets at seven, greens at six, hay always full. Thank you!”

Keep the tone friendly. A sitter who feels trusted tends to read the whole message, and that’s the goal.
