Anonymous text for a freelancer’s “draft is ready” nudge

Desk

Hey! This message comes from a secret sender. Try it out!

We only allow positive and reasonable messages with a valid reason to send. No spam.

Three steps

From finished draft to sent nudge

Sending an anonymous text takes three moves, and you can make all of them between exports.

  1. 1

    Write the nudge

Type something plain: the draft is ready and where to find it. The counter shows how much room is left.

  2. 2

    Choose the details

Pick the country flag if your client is outside the US, then select a sender name from the list.

  3. 3

    Preview, then send

Read the preview as the client would, and send. Back to the next project.

Freelance moments

When a nudge beats another email

Inboxes bury things. A short text is hard to miss.

Draft ready for review

The design, the copy or the edit is done. One line gets the client looking.

Revisions are in

Your second round is finished and waiting. A quick text keeps feedback moving.

Client across the ocean

Your morning is their evening. A text catches them between meetings while the email waits.

Writing tips

Keep the nudge professional

  • Sign with your name or business; the sender name alone will not tell the client who you are.
  • Say where the draft lives, such as your shared folder or email thread.
  • Replies are not forwarded, so ask for feedback by email instead of by text.
  • Messages pass a filter for threats, spam and scams, so keep it plain business.
